Description

This ICS Canada certified ICS 100 course is intended for anyone that could potentially participate in the emergency response to an incident. It provides basic information about the Incident Command System and will prepare you to work in a support role at an incident or event.  This course will allow you to understand your role within the Incident Command System organizational structure and the rules and guidelines to follow to ensure that you can participate in a coordinated and organized response. 

 

To meet ICS Canada's requirements, this ICS 100 course is designed to take approximately 4 hours and is based on a self-study of the Student Manual and the guided video tutorial. To measure how well you received and retained this information, there will be an examination covering all the course material.  The exam must be completed in one sitting. 

 

There is no prerequisite for this course. 

 

This ICS 100 course is a pre-requisite for ICS 200 and above. For those interested in advancing their ICS training, H2Safety hosts multiple ICS Canada certified remotely facilitated ICS 200 courses throughout the year. 

 

Our instructors are certified ICS Canada instructors. 

 

The ICS Canada Student Manual  PDF is to be used in conjunction with the H2Safety ICS Training Videos.
